By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Platform as an authorized distributor/dealer ("Vendor") or registered technician/electrician ("Service Partner"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consented to the practices described in this Policy in compliance with the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ("SPDI Rules"), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
2. Information We Collect
To provide authorized users with access to commission calculation, bill verification, and payout disbursement, we collect the following categories of information:
A. Identity and Contact Information
- Personal Particulars: Full legal name, profile display name, and avatar/profile photograph (if uploaded).
- Contact Details: Verified 10-digit Indian mobile telephone number (used as the primary account identifier) and email address.
- Business Particulars: Enterprise/store trade name, business classification, postal address, city, state, and PIN code.
B. Tax and Regulatory KYC Data
- GSTIN: Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (for registered vendors and wholesale entities).
- PAN Details: Permanent Account Number (PAN) required for statutory Tax Deducted at Source ("TDS") withholding and reporting under Sections 194H and 194R of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961.
C. Financial and Settlement Information
- Bank Account Particulars: Bank name, account number, beneficiary account holder name, and Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) for electronic direct deposit (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS).

3. Mobile Device Permissions & Justification
The Suncor Commission mobile application explicitly requests only the minimum device permissions necessary to execute its business functions:

android.permission.CAMERA/NSCameraUsageDescription): Requested solely to allow users to take a real-time photograph of physical invoices, retail bills, or bank payment receipts directly inside the app. The camera is never accessed in the background. -
Photo Library & Storage (
android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES/NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription): Requested solely to permit users to select and attach existing invoice photos or PDF receipts from their gallery for claim submission. We do not access, scan, or index other personal photos or albums. -
Push Notifications (
POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used exclusively to dispatch transactional alerts concerning bill approval or rejection, commission credits, policy updates, and payout completion. Users can enable or disable push notifications at any time in their device settings.
4. Purpose of Data Processing
We process your personal information strictly for legitimate, program-related purposes:
- User Authentication: Verifying user credentials and securing access to role-based portals (Vendor vs. Service Partner vs. Admin).
- Claim Verification: Validating the authenticity of purchased and installed Suncor electrical products and preventing fraudulent, duplicate, or collusive submissions.
- Commission Calculation: Computing real-time incentive earnings according to active sales slabs and product schemes.
- Disbursement of Payouts: Transferring settled funds directly to authorized beneficiary bank accounts or UPI VPAs.
- Tax & Statutory Compliance: Filing statutory TDS returns with the Income Tax Department of India and generating Form 16A TDS certificates.
- Audit & Security: Maintaining an immutable financial ledger and detecting suspicious account behavior.
5. Information Sharing & Third-Party Disclosures
Zero Commercial Sale of Data: Suncor India has never sold, rented, leased, or monetized personal information to third parties, advertising brokers, or data aggregators, and will never do so.
We share information only with the following authorized entities:
- Banking and Payment Processing Partners: Licensed scheduled commercial banks in India (e.g. ICICI, HDFC, SBI) for executing automated NEFT/RTGS/IMPS/UPI disbursements.

- Technical Session Logs: System and diagnostic logs are automatically purged or anonymized on a rolling 90-day retention schedule.

Processing Timeline: Our compliance team will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and verify account ownership. We implement comprehensive technical and organizational security measures to protect your sensitive personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:
- Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the mobile application, web browser, and backend servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3 / HTTPS protocols.
